Music, cake, and warm memories filled The Callywhite Care Home this week as residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate the home’s 10th anniversary.
The milestone was marked not just as a business success, but as a celebration of care, compassion and community.
“This journey began with my parents, who believed deeply that everyone deserves care that is delivered with dignity, respect, and warmth,” said Deepak, who leads the family-run home today. “We’ve built The Callywhite on their values and are proud to see how far we’ve come together.”
The event highlighted the contributions of staff, including Home Manager Julie, who has been part of the team since the very beginning. “Julie’s care and dedication has helped make this home what it is today,” Deepak said.
The celebration also honoured the residents and their families who bring daily joy and purpose to the home. “Our residents are at the heart of everything we do,” added Deepak. “We’re so grateful for their trust and the chance to be part of their lives.”

Recent years have seen major investment in the home, including a full refurb in 2024, ensuring that residents benefit from modern, comfortable surroundings. The commitment to excellence has also been recognised with the prestigious Derbyshire Quality Premium Award, a mark of outstanding standards in care.
Looking ahead, the care home is eager to embrace the future while staying true to its roots. “We’re excited about the next chapter,” said Deepak. “But our mission remains the same: to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a home that truly feels like home.”
