It is also an opportunity to select preferred accommodation. Information is gathered from social services and medical professionals where applicable and then a member of our nursing team conducts a pre-admission assessment to fully understand the needs of the individual. Fees are dependent upon the choice of room and the individual’s requirements and needs. These are agreed prior to admission. Upon admission, our Nurse welcomes and spends time with the new resident and their loved ones, to create a detailed and tailored care plan. 

In order to provide this tailored service, time is taken initially to gather as much information about the individual as possible; from where they went to school to what they like to drink before bed. Every resident who stays at The Green will have the peace of mind and security of having a named nurse and key care worker, who they will get to know personally.  These staff will be responsible for developing and reviewing the resident’s personal care plan.
